The stars and planets must be aligned right this month! Today I found out that my photo of the waterfall at Chase Co. Fishing Lake has been selected 2nd place winner in the Kansas Bankers Association 2010 Calendar Contest! The waterfall will be featured as the photo for July 2010. My photo was selected for this honor from among approximately 400 other entries. I’m very excited that one of my photos will be featured on a calendar!
Will my luck continue? Should I go buy a lottery ticket?!

This is simply fantastic! My luck in personally knowing a published photographer! I still think you and I should collaborate some day with photography and words…we would work well together! 🙂
